Very Important……………………………………………………………..To our esteemed poultry farmers and project owners, we would like to clarify the current situation.

With the arrival of summer and the rising temperatures, cases of heat stress in poultry are increasing, especially in our country, Iraq. This factor is one of the most significant negative influences on the immune system’s response, particularly when using vaccines with a low dose of Newcastle disease virus (EID50), as the immune response will then be weak and ineffective.

This is where our company comes in…

We at Al-Kindi Company for the Production of Vaccines and Veterinary Medicines are committed to strictly adhering to the international standard dosage specifications, as confirmed by the quality control and pharmaceutical inspections conducted by the Veterinary Department, which have proven that our products conform to international standards.  Therefore, our company recommends that all poultry farmers, especially in areas heavily affected by Newcastle disease, adopt the following vaccination program, which is suitable for current climatic conditions and based on scientific research (Professor Dr. Fouad Al-Sheikhly).

We advise using the coarse spray method because it ensures that all chicks are vaccinated, unlike the eye-drop method. While the eye-drop method is effective, it is a stressful process for large numbers of birds, resulting in many going unvaccinated, and it is impossible to guarantee that all vaccinations are administered. We strongly recommend using the coarse spray method in conjunction with the Al-Kindi Company’s program to minimize losses due to Newcastle disease, especially during the summer season when heat stress plays a role in reducing the immune response.  Below we present the proposed preventative program:

📌
• At 1–3 days of age:
Newcastle disease vaccine (Allister strain) + Infectious bronchitis vaccine (H120)
Vaccination method: Coarse spray
Best time: Late at night when it is cool
Note: Please adhere to all spray vaccination instructions to ensure effectiveness.

• At 8–10 days of age:
Newcastle disease vaccine (Aveno strain)
Vaccination method: Coarse spray
• At 14–15 days of age:
Newcastle disease vaccine (Aveno strain) or Clone 30
Vaccination method: Coarse spray
• In areas with high prevalence and risk:
Revaccination with Clone 30 is recommended
Age: 22–25 days
Vaccination method: Coarse spray

We pray to God Almighty for everyone’s success and for the eradication of all diseases.  We also affirm that Al-Kindi Company is fully prepared to provide any consultation or information to all breeders and workers in this sector.

May God grant us success.
