This is lyophilized vaccine contains S.gallinarum 9R . This vaccine contains a non pathogenic S.gallinarum in addition to skim milk, Dextrose and glycerin to maintain the viability of the organisms.
The recommended dose (0.2 ml) given S/C contains minimum of 10 to 8 viable organisms.
Instructions:
Use the diluent which is comes with the vaccine. This diluent is usually normal saline. Shaking the bottle frequently during the process of vaccination.

S/C . The site of injection is usually at the back of the neck.
Vaccination program:
Single dose at the age of 14-15 weeks of age should be enough and no need to vaccinate the birds again.

The dose of Typhoid 9R vaccine (0.2ml) contains at least 10 to 8 Colony Forming Units (CFU) . This means each dose has 100 millions bacteria.
