General Information on Raising Broiler Chicks

Chicks should weigh approximately 50-60 grams at hatching… By the end of the first week, their weight should be approximately 190-200 grams… By the end of the second week, their weight should be approximately 500 grams… At the end of the third week of life, the average weight should be around 1000-1050 grams. By 28 days old, the average weight should be around 1550 grams. At 34-35 days old, the average should be around 2200-2300 grams. Finally, at marketing, the average weight should be 2700-2800 grams at 39-40 days old. It should be noted that the normal mortality rate per 1000 birds is around 1-2 birds, and this varies depending on the rearing conditions. We would like to point out the use of vaccination schedules for Newcastle disease, bronchitis, and Gumboro disease, which are adopted by the Iraqi National Company of Al-Kindi and are its products.
