A- Composition and Description

  1. This Vaccine contains lentogenic strain of NDV with ICPI ( intra pathogenic index) is 0:0 zero
  2. This Vaccine contains B1 strain which is prepared in embryonated chicken eggs and Freezes dried.
  3. This Vaccine contains at lees 106.5 EID50. Embryo infective dose 50 dose.
  4. This Vaccine is manufactured according to the international standards and according to the British pharmacopoeia and FAO guidelines.

B- Administration:-

  1. This Vaccine is preferably given at early ages (day 1) by aerosol exposure using (special equipment adjusted to course mist 130 to 150 microns).
  2. This strain could be used after the initial dose according to the vaccination guidelines .
  3.  This strain is suitable fo flocks production.
  4. The preferred strain for the vaccination at (1 day) of age is the less virulent strain in terms of pathogenicity index According to the sequence in case of a  vailabity or unavailability of strain.
  5. Vaccination is repeated using the same methods and the same spray size .
  6. Use strain B1 at (7 to 8 days) of age and repeat with the same strain for the thired vacation can be use at (5 to 16) days of age or any of the days before 20 days of age. and this applies to broiler and layer hens.
  7. Layer hens are revaccinated in the same way at 35 to 40 days of age with strain Clone30 and then revaccinated every(2 to 3)months and the last revaccination befor production is by fine spraying at (80 to 100)micron spray at (15 to 17) weeks of age .
  8. This preferable to use this strain B1 to avoid slight drop in egg production.
  9. This program, the method , the age  , at the chicks , the Number of vaccination and the preferred strains at each stage are sufficient to give complete immunity to the flock .

C- Vaccination  via drinking water:

  1. Water souled be with hold for 2 – 4 hours to age and the climate temperature.
  2. Water should be cleaned and with no trace of antiseptic. Enough drinkers should be available.

 D- Notes:-

      When their is respiratory distresses try to delay Vaccination but in highly risky zones don’t delay the Vaccination and use the weakest strain of  NDV plus using a proper antibiotics .

E- Recomendation:

  1. Lyophilized should be stored at 2-8 centigrade (normal refrigerator) until being used before the expiration.
  2. Destroy all the empty vials propley .
  3. It is not recommended to store the freeze drieal vaccine in deep freeze like -15 or -20 c° .

F- Packing:

    ND Vaccines available in 1000 doses vials and in 2500 dosses vials
