Newcastle Disease Vaccine (Allister strain)

Description and Composition:

. This vaccine contains the Allister strain of Newcastle disease.

. The vaccine is prepared using inoculated and freeze-dried chicken egg embryos.

. The vaccine contains a standard of 10, 6.5, and EID50.

. The vaccine is manufactured according to the British Pharmacopoeia and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Vaccination Methods:

. It is preferable to administer the vaccine at early ages using a coarse spray (130-150 microns).

. The amount of distilled water used depends on the age and number of birds.

100 ml per 1000 birds at 1 day old.

200 ml per 1000 birds at 7-10 days old.

250 ml per 1000 birds at 3 weeks old.

Administered via drinking water:

. The water should be clean, free of disinfectants and impurities.

Recommendations:

1. Store the vaccine at a temperature of 2-8°C, depending on the number and age of the birds.

2. Dispose of all empty containers hygienically.

3. Do not vaccinate poultry exhibiting respiratory symptoms.
