A. Composition and Description
1. This vaccine contains a non-replicating NDV strain with an ICPI of 0:0.
2. This vaccine contains strain B and is prepared in frozen, dried, incubated eggs.
3. This vaccine contains at least 10 doses of EIDS. The infectious dose for the embryo is 50 doses.
4. This vaccine is manufactured according to international standards, the British Pharmacopoeia, and FAO guidelines.
B. Method of Administration:
1. This vaccine is best administered at early ages (day 1) via aerosol exposure using specially modified equipment for a 130-150 micron aerosol.
2. This strain can be used after the first dose according to vaccination guidelines.
3. This strain is suitable for flock production. 4. The preferred strain for vaccination at one day old is the one with the lowest pathogenicity index, depending on the available strain.
5. The vaccination is repeated using the same methods and spray volume.
6. Strain B is used at 7 to 8 days of age and repeated with the same strain for the third vaccination. It can be used at 5 to 16 days of age or any day before 20 days. This applies to both broiler and layer hens.
7. Layer hens are revaccinated using the same method at 35 to 40 days of age with the Clone 30 strain, then revaccinated every 2 to 3 months. The final revaccination before production is done with a fine spray at 80 to 100 microns at 15 to 17 weeks of age.
8. Using strain B is preferred to avoid a slight decrease in egg production.
9. This program, method, chick age, number of vaccinations, and preferred strains at each stage are sufficient to provide complete immunity to the flock.
C. Vaccination via Drinking Water:
1. The water should be kept at room temperature for 2-4 hours before vaccination.
2. The water must be clean and free of any traces of disinfectants. A sufficient number of drinking containers must be provided.
D. Notes:
If respiratory distress occurs, try to postpone vaccination. However, in high-risk areas, do not postpone vaccination. Use the weakest strain of Newcastle disease virus, in addition to administering appropriate antibiotics.
E. Recommendations:
1. Store the freeze-dried vaccine at 2-8°C (normal refrigerator) until the expiration date.
2. Dispose of all empty vials immediately.
3. It is not recommended to store freeze-dried vaccines at deep freezing temperatures such as -15°C or -20°C. Packaging F:
ND vaccines are available in 1000-dose vials and 2500-dose vials.
