Specifications and components :–
The vaccine is made up of Pasteurella multicida strain B, killed with formalin and attached to Alum as an auxiliary substance, and the vaccine is prepared according to international standards and approved by the British Pharmacological Constitution in quality control tests on the vaccine .the single dose contains Pasteurella multicide 5-10×109 bacteria.
Uses and applications :-
The vaccine is used to stimulate positive immunity against infection with hemorrhagic septicemia (Abu hanigir) .
Methods of vaccine administration and doses :-
The vaccine is given in two doses 3 mL subcutaneously to cows and buffaloes between the first and second dose, a period of 2-3 weeks, and the vaccine is repeated annually .
Interferences
Pregnant animals are not vaccinated in the last month of pregnancy .
Side effect :-
A small nodule forms in the injection area, which quickly absorbs and disappears within (2) weeks .
Precautions :–
Monitor the temperature of the animal before and after vaccination , and shake the bottle well before use .
Warning :-
Destroy empty and partially used bottles in a scientific way .
Storage :-
The vaccine is stored at a temperature of (+4C to +8C) degrees Celsius . It prevents the freezing of the vaccine .
Packaging :
The vaccine is packaged in 100 ml glass vials
Contains 33 potions for cows and buffaloes .
Shelf life: – one year from the date of manufacture
