Specifications and Components:
The sheep and goat pox vaccine contains the Romanovirus strain grown on testicular tissue culture cells of lambs. Each dose of the vaccine contains 103.5 TCID50.
The vaccine undergoes quality testing according to international standards.
Indications:
Vaccination of sheep and goats against sheep pox.
Administration and Dosage:
The vaccine is dissolved in cold physiological saline solution according to the number of doses indicated on the vial. The final dose per animal is 0.1 ml administered intradermally in the rump area or 1 ml administered subcutaneously (s/c).
Interactions and Contraindications:
. Do not vaccinate sick animals or those exhibiting symptoms of disease.
. Do not vaccinate pregnant animals at the end of gestation (2 weeks).
Side Effects:
A small, hard lump may appear at the injection site and will be absorbed within 10-14 days.
Storage:
Store the vaccine at a refrigerator temperature (4-8°C).
